Veterans honored at Rutherford County Senior Center

Rutherford County Senior Center director Tammy Aldridge welcomed veterans and others to the senior center's Veterans Program.

Rutherford County Sheriff Aaron Ellenburg recognized the local Veterans.

The Senior Center Fellowship Group sang "My Country Tis of Thee" and the National Anthem.

Each veteran received a gift donated by Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy. Welcome Home Quilts were presented to six veterans at the program. The quilting group has given over 300 quilts to veterans since 2015 and no two are alike.
