Veterans Memorial Garden ceremony November 11

The Town of Rutherfordton will have a brief ceremony at 11am on Veterans Day to dedicate the Veterans Memorial Garden in the town cemetery. The memorial garden was an Eagle Scout project of Chuck Buchanan and refurbished in 2021 by Eagle Scout Luke McDaniel. The Town of Rutherfordton also assisted in completing the Veterans Memorial Garden. The public is encouraged to participate in the ceremony to honor America's veterans.
