Vickie Roberson Rich, age 82 of Bostic, NC

Vickie Roberson Rich, age 82 of Bostic, NC died Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Vickie was born January 11, 1944, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Lewis Marsellus Roberson and Violet Harris Roberson.

Vickie was the secretary at East Middle School where she retired after many years of service. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Bostic and more recently was a member of Florence Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don Roberson and Greg Roberson, and her sister, Kay Blanton.

She is survived by her sons, Jack Rich and wife Shirley of Forest City, Jeremy Rich and wife Edie, and Jeffrey Rich and wife Anita all of Bostic, her daughter, Jill Rich Mills and husband, Terry of Mill Spring, her brother, Steve Roberson and wife Beckey of Forest City, her sister, Gail Garrison of Murrells Inlet, SC, eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, May 8 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Scott Butler officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Bostic. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm.
