Virginia Jones Pitman "Ginny", 83 of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Allen and Reita Smith Jones.
Ginny was an apartment manager and a member of Florence Baptist Church.
Ginny is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tommy Pitman; brother, Tommy Jones; sisters in law, Sue Hamrick, Libby Gibson, Diane Pitman and Helen Lane.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Curt Jones, sisters, Margaret Jones and Brenda Jones Ellenburg.
Services were private for the family.
