Vonnie Dillashaw, age 99, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
Vonnie was born Sunday, May 15, 1921 in Rutherford County to the late Eddie Hill and Lura Van Dyke Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Howard Dillashaw.
Those left to cherish her memory include five nieces; two nephews. Her six "grandchildren" who called her "Granny Bom Bom" who served as pallbearers; and eleven great-grandchildren also survive her.
A graveside service was conducted at the Alexander Cemetery.
Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
