Warren Jeffrey McPherson, 58, of Rutherfordton

Warren Jeffrey McPherson, 58, of Rutherfordton, passed away June 7, 2026, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Warren was the son of the late Saul Lindberg McPherson and Mildred "Millie" Owens McPherson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy McPherson; his brothers, Jerry McPherson (Betsy) of Shelby, and Mike McPherson (Debbie) of Lake Lure, his stepchildren, Johnathan Bailey (Freyln) and Tiffany Gaddy (Brandon); and his four grandchildren, Peyton, Brooklee, Ottis, and Scarlett, his niece, Jessica McPherson, his nephews, Clint McPherson and Matt McPherson, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graduate of RS Central High School Class of 1986, Warren worked for many years at Sun Ray in Rutherfordton. He held a pilot's license. Warren also loved the Lord and he is at peace with his savior.

A memorial service was held June 10 in Crowe's Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Randy Darley.
