WCOC receives Donation Station food Summer hours Thursday & Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Master Gardeners, Rutherford County Extension, and Farmers Market patrons donated over 80 pounds in fresh produce and local eggs to the Washburn Community Outreach Center (WCOC) for the food pantry. The Donation Station at the Farmers Market strives to raise awareness about food insecurity and equity in Rutherford County and gives citizens an opportunity to address it.

"We thank you all," said Lindy Abrams, WCOC Executive Director. The center distributes food boxes on Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 12pm at the WCOC.
