William “Bill” Hicks Miller Sr.

William “Bill” Hicks Miller Sr., of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on December 19th 2012. 

Bill was the son of the late Earl Hicks and Patricia Ritchie Miller.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Billy Miller Jr.  Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Lori and husband Gavin Turner of Jacksonville, Fl. Sisters Sonja Sloan, of Rutherfordton, NC and Deborah Johnston and husband Ted of Mount Holly.  Brother Doug Miller and wife Renée Miller of Rutherfordton.  Two grandchildren Griffin Turner, and Emily Turner. A Number of nieces and nephews.  

Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Alley officiating. Burial followed at Brittain Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.  Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
