William Bruce Hodge, age 65

William Bruce Hodge, age 65, of Caroleen, passed away, Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Bruce was born October 17, 1957 in Rutherford County to William Ray Hodge of Forest City and the late Betty Campbell Ervin. Bruce was a veteran of the US Army. He was a truck driver for many years and also worked as a mechanic. Bruce attended Caroleen Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Hodge; sisters, Darlene Hodge, Donna Hodge and stepbrother, Ken Ervin.

Besides his father, those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 20 years, Martha Hodge; children, Brenda, Nicole, Brandon, Buffy and Diane; a number of grandchildren; brothers, Billy Hodge of Shallotte, Toney Ervin of Shelby, Jerry Ervin of FL, Timmy Ervin of FL and Ronnie Ervin of Shelby; sisters, Debbie Hodge (Ricky Brooks) of Ellenboro, Wanda Hodge of Union Mills, Cindy Evans of Spindale, Beverly Ervin of FL and Gloria Holden of FL.

In honor of Bruce's wishes there will be no formal services conducted.
