William Harrison Arrowood, Jr., age 89

William Harrison Arrowood, Jr., age 89, of Cliffside passed away Friday, November 20, 2020.

William was born January 5, 1931 in Rutherford County to the late William Harrison Arrowood and Maude Lail Arrowood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Sailors Arrowood; son, William "Bill" Forrest Arrowood and grandson, William Andrew Arrowood; three brothers, Max, Cecil and Buddy Arrowood.

Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Bertha Davis (Larry) of Mooresboro; two sons, Randy Arrowood (Janet) of Mooresboro and Dylan Arrowood of the home; daughter-in-law, Lisa Arrowood of Hendersonville; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Goodes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
