William "Henry" Whiteside, age 89

William "Henry" Whiteside, age 89, of Union Mills, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

The son of the late Charlie and Cora Eplee Whiteside, Henry was born in Rutherford County, on November 13, 1931. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Flora Harris.

He is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Quinton of Forest City and Hazel Cogdell of Rutherfordton; thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty-one great nieces and nephews; and twenty-seven great-great nieces and nephews; two great-great-great nieces and nephews.

An outdoor service was held at Piedmont Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherfordton.
