A group of YouthWorks volunteers from Iowa were in Rutherford County four days last week assisting nonprofit groups and other organizations on a number of projects. Shown above are youth as they helped pack food boxes at the Washburn Community Outreach Center on Thursday inside the warehouse at Washburn. Air conditioning was provided in the food storage building thanks to a grant from Rutherford Endowment Foundation. YouthWorks also helped with Rutherford Housing Partnership projects.
