Zira Carylin Powell Taylor

Zira Carylin Powell Taylor of Savannah, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021.

Zira was born on December 26, 1938, in Sylvania, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Edward Hill Powell and Lexie Elijah Wiggins Powell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Liston Taylor, her daughters, Teresa Taylor Yarbrough and Denise Taylor Leprohon, and her sister, Nina Belle Braddock.

Survivors include her daughter, Bebe Taylor Ingle and husband Randy of Forest City, her sister, Sybil Cribbs and husband Ray of Savannah, Georgia, her four grandchildren, as well as seven great-grandchildren.

A service from the graveside was held at Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.
