Once a year, the Rutherford County Extension and Community Association (ECA) members are involved in a fun and fellowship day for themselves, stepping aside from their monthly community service projects and educational programs.

No doubt, the game of the week is at East Rutherford. First, all four football teams in Rutherford County won last Friday. We have to go back to August 26th of 2016 when that last happened. Every school is also at home this Friday night.

After several days of training and orientation to the district, all new Rutherford County Schools teachers were joined by their mentors and principals, district administration, and the Board of Education for RCSNC's annual New Teacher Breakfast. A morning of introductions, fellowship, warm welcomes and silliness served as a fantastic kickoff for around 50 teachers new to the Rutherford County Schools teaching family.
