Meet Rutherford County’s New Chamber Of Commerce Director
Meet Rutherford County’s New Chamber Of Commerce Director
His name is Forrest Clark Poole. He goes by his middle name, Clark. However, since becoming the new Director of the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce, he might start going by his first name. He’s up and running! “Run Forrest Run!” seems more appropriate for a man who came out of retirement and doesn’t intend to sit behind a desk.

East Rutherford’s Home Win Streak is Done in Double OT Thriller
East Rutherford’s Home Win Streak is Done in Double OT Thriller

Losing at home is tough for any team to swallow, but East Rutherford’s valiant effort came up short to protect the home court in a 76-71 loss to conference foe, Freedom.

The loss snapped a 24-game win streak at the confines of East Rutherford, when Salisbury beat them two years ago in the 2A playoffs.

Still, Freedom at East Rutherford last Friday was everything you could of asked for out of a two of the best hoops teams in the state.

Outdoor Truths
Outdoor Truths
I awoke early, gathered my computer, and sat on the couch. I usually check my email at that time and read my devotion that is sent to me each morning. I was also contemplating my other outdoor activity, running. It was very cold that morning. It was also drizzling rain. I thought I was going to be looking at Hoyt Bows’ new pro staff team. What I discovered was something that made me change my early morning plans.

Listen To Life
Have you noticed?

You know how your car or truck gets dirty in the winter?  The weather isn’t so warm so you don’t feel like washing it yourself.  And much of the time the carwash is closed becIt’s easy to slowly grow accustomed to the dirty appearance of your vehicle.  That’s what happened to me recently.  I just really didn’t see the dirt on my car…

Outdoor Truths
Outdoor Truths
My friend Dave just killed a buck in Ohio. This time however, instead of waiting on the big one, he arrowed one that had a lot to be desired.
